Writing a project statement

What is your project about? An exploration of my home, and what it means to me after being evicted.
- Explain your concept. Think carefully about what information your reader
  (who is new to your idea) needs to understand it.
Who is your target audience? I aim to communicate with audiences who have experienced eviction.
- Identify who you are making this work for. Is it for young children, people
  from a specific culture, people experiencing mental health etc.? Why?
What is / will be your working process? I have experimented with collage, monotype printing, and clay in a process of exploring home as a space, home and family, and home after eviction.
- Briefly discuss the materials/techniques/processes you are/will be
  using. Why are you using them? For example, do they relate to your
  concept? Do you think they are appropriate for your target audience? Etc.
What is your (proposed) outcome? My realisation are 100 miniature clay houses, painted with acrylics. Colourful and detailed, they are a representation of all the love that goes into a home. The scale is implicative of how each house is personal and that audiences are peering at the details like they are looking into these personal lives / experiences.
- Briefly describe what your outcome will be (or what you think it will be).
- How does it relate to your concept?
- How will it engage your target audience?
Summarise all of the above in two-three sentences. Include only the most essential information and write simply – what does the audience need to know?

Offer an emotional or conceptual meaning
Help the viewer connect with the work
Improve arts accessibility by serving as the viewer's entry point to a piece
